The airport is located just 24 km away from the city centre, so when traffic flow is moderate, a Heathrow airport taxi journey to the city centre of London takes approximately 30 minutes. As soon as your journey begins, your driver will take the M-4 (N) motorway towards London. Once you reach central London, your driver will use the smaller local roads to reach the exact location of your hotel.

PHV drivers and operators will need to pay the fee if they drop-off in the terminal drop-off zones.
Moreover, an extra charge of €3.30 (£2.80) will be required for journeys that leave from Heathrow Airport taxi ranks.
