Thessaloniki’s Makedonia SKG airport is the only one offering international flights to the city and district of Thessaloniki. The distance from Makedonia airport to the city centre is 16km and the total journey should not take more than 25 minutes in a Thessaloniki airport taxi. To head to the city, your driver will take the airport highway and turn right onto the Thessalonikis Neo Moudanion highway, following this into the city. As you arrive in the city, the highway becomes Konstantinou Karamanli. Your driver will then leave this road and enter Egnatia Street, which is the central avenue of Thessaloniki, taking you directly to Aristotelous Square and towards your selected hotel.
