Diagoras Airport, also known as Rhodes International Airport (RHO), is the main airport on Rhodes island, hosting both domestic and international flights. The shortest route from Rhodes Airport to the Town of Rhodes is 13.5 km. Taking a taxi from Rhodes airport to the city centre shouldn’t take more than 20 minutes in light traffic. Once your driver exits the airport compound, they will turn left and merge onto the Ialisou-Katavias highway. Your driver will head straight until the highway becomes Leoforos Iraklidon. Lastly, you will enter the town by turning right on Iliadon avenue, which passes through the downtown district. From here, your driver will use the smaller local roads to drop you off at your hotel.
