This airport took over all flight paths from Ataturk airport and now functions as the major flight hub for travellers entering the Middle East and Asia. Istanbul airport is located around 44km from the centre of Istanbul. To get there, your driver will take the main highway D020, keeping in the right-hand lane until he takes the ramp to F.S.M. Köprüsü/Kadıköy/Ankara. Your driver will then merge back onto highway E80. He will then take the exit toward Kağıthane/Sütlüce, cross the river and Imrahor Cd, and continue onto Beşiktaş-Kağıthane Tüneli. This will lead you into the Taksim area, where your driver will use the local roads to take you to your hotel.
