Kuala Lumpur Airport has rapidly expanded in recent years to become one of the biggest airports in Asia. The airport now has two terminals after the recent addition of KLIA2, which was built to replace the temporary LCCT (Low-Cost Carrier Terminal) to accommodate the ever-growing services of Air Asia. The airport is located 55.2 km outside of the city, so the most convenient mode of transport is to take a Kuala Lumpur airport taxi. Your driver will take the Lebuhraya Klia Extension/E6 Highway and then take the exit to Route 29. From there they will take Lebuhraya Kuala Lumpur – Putrajaya/E20 (note there are tolls on this road) and head towards Jalan Tun Sambanthan, turning right when you reaches it. Finally, a left turn onto Jalan Hang Kasturi will get you into the city centre. Your driver will then take the local roads to reach your hotel.
