The shortest route from Chopin airport to the city centre of Warsaw is 10km and the total taxi or airport transfer ride under normal traffic conditions takes approximately 20 minutes. To head to Warsaw downtown district the taxi must first take DW634 route that heads north to Warsaw and then turn right to DW631 highway which leads directly to the heart of Warsaw.

Although Warsaw Chopin Airport is the largest airport of Warsaw, Modlin Airport (WMI) is the busiest low fare airport of the region hosting small airlines from around Europe. The shortest route from Modlin Airport to the city centre of Warsaw is 42 km and the total airport transfer ride, under normal traffic conditions, takes approximately 40 minutes. After exiting the airport compound, the driver will head south onto E77 highway that reaches to the central Warsaw district. Lastly, the driver has to turn right to DW631 avenue heading to Warsaw downtown.
