Directions from Mexico City (MEX) airport
Mexico City Benito Juarez airport is the largest in Latin America, welcoming over 40 million passengers each year. Spread out over two terminals, this airport is modern and sleek in design, with efficient services such as an Aérotren to pass between Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Mexico City (MEX) is located just 10km away from the city centre, so in normal traffic, your journey should take no more than 20 minutes. Your driver will leave the airport and head northeast on Calle Sonora. You will then turn left onto Calle Puerto Mexico and soon after take a right onto Av. Rio Consulado. After merging Longo Cto. Interior, you will take the exit 1-D towards Cto. Bicentenario. After a few miles, you will then head right onto Calle Comonfort and right again onto Libertad. Two more lefts past Ignacio Allende and Donceles and you’ve arrived at the centre of Mexico City.
Flat rate airport taxi from Mexico City airport
Taxis at Mexico City airport are charged using a flat rate based on zones. The exact location of your final destination will slightly increase or decrease the price, but a ride to the historic centre will cost you €11.60 (250 mxn). Although taxis are available at MEX airport, we recommend booking in advance with Welcome Picjups to avoid any queues or extra charges.
