Directions from Incheon Airport to Seoul
Incheon International airport (ICN) is the main airport in South Korea and one of the biggest in the world and has continually won the award for “Best Airport Worldwide” since 2005. When landing at Incheon airport your trip to Seoul should take around 1 hour. Your driver will take the Incheon International Airport Expressway, which is a toll road made specifically for airport traffic running directly to Seoul. After they leave the Expressway, your driver will take the local city roads to your Seoul hotel or accommodation.
Directions from Gimpo Airport to Seoul
Gimpo Airport (GMP) is located on the far western side of Seoul, around 16.2 km from the city centre. Gimpo airport was the original international airport serving Seoul until it was replaced by Incheon, making it secondary. To get from Gimpo airport to the city centre of Seoul your driver will join the Gaehwadont highway and head straight until they reach the Gaehwa-Dong. They will then take a right and cross the Haengiu Bridge, changing to Haengju-Dong. Your driver will follow this road until they reach the local roads which lead to downtown Seoul.
Taxi Fare Incheon or Gimpo Airport?
Neither taxis at Incheon International Airport (ICN) nor Gimpo Airport (GMP) provide set rate fares. Instead, your journey into Seoul will be calculated using a taximeter based on the time and distance travelled. The total fare for your Incheon airport to Seoul trip costs around €33 (44,000 KRW) and around 11.30€ (15,000 KRW) from Gimpo airport.
