Safety and Complaints for New York Taxis
NYC taxis are safe to take, although they can be slightly expensive if used on a regular basis. There are many stories about people leaving their belongings in the cab, and having the cab driver return their belongings the same day. However, their driving can surprise some, as they drive the “New York way”, meaning they zip in and out of traffic, so do not be to alarmed, this way of driving is normal.
