Directions from San Diego Airport to Downtown
San Diego International Airport (SAN), also known as Lindbergh Field Airport, is located approximately 4.8 km (3 miles) northwest of the central business district of San Diego. In normal traffic conditions, it takes around 15 minutes to reach Downtown San Diego by taxi or by private shuttle.
When leaving the airport, your San Diego transfer driver will head east on N Harbor Dr toward McCain Rd for 4.5 km (2.8 miles) and turn left onto W Broadway/Broadway Pier. Your shuttle driver will then turn left again onto State St before turning right at the first cross street onto W C St. From here, your driver will use the smaller local roads to get to your downtown accommodation.
