Directions - Your Birmingham Airport Taxi Journey
Birmingham Airport (BHX) is an international airport located east-southeast of Birmingham city centre. The airport sees over 13 million passengers through its doors annually, making it the 7th busiest airport in the UK. The airport is located 24 km from Birmingham city centre, so taking a Birmingham airport taxi shouldn’t take longer than 25 minutes.
To get to the city centre, your driver will head south onto Airport Way and then take the 3rd exit on the first roundabout onto the A45 ramp to M42/M6/M1/M40/M5/Coventry. After a few kilometres, your driver will then merge onto Coventry Rd/A45, before taking the M42 ramp to M6/M1/M40/M5/N.E.C. At the Bickenhill Interchange, your driver will take the 2nd exit onto the M42. After a few minutes, you will reach junction 7, where you will take the M6(N) exit to Birmingham (C&N). From there, you will follow the signs for A 38/Birmingham and merge onto A38(M) until you reach the exit toward Corporation St. You will then take this exit and follow Corporation St into the heart of Birmingham city centre.
