Keflavik Airport is the largest airport in Iceland and the main hub for international transfers. The airport is 50km southwest of Reykjavik and 3km west of Keflavik. Most of the international journeys to and from Iceland are through Keflavik airport.
Your airport transfer to Reykjavik city centre shouldn’t take more than 45 minutes by a Keflavik airport taxi or private transfer. Your driver will head east on Reykjanesbraut/Route 41 after leaving the airport and continue to Fjardarhraun/Route 40 before taking the exit toward Seltjarnarnes/Rvk-Fossvogur/Reykjavik V. From there, your driver will then turn left onto Bustadavegur and merge onto Hringbraut/Route 49. After 1.2km, your driver will turn right onto Tjamargata, which leads to the city centre and will take you to your hotel from there.
