Travel safely with Welcome Pickups
Net Safety Score
We’ve introduced a metric indicating how safe travellers feel when using our services during the COVID-19 pandemic. After every ride, we ask each traveller to leave a review.
20 minute gap between transfers
Following each ride, our drivers have at least 20 minutes to thoroughly clean the surfaces of the car and ventilate the cabin.
Regular Car Sanitisation
Our drivers thoroughly sanitise and disinfect cars according to Welcome Safety Protocol
Contactless ride
When you book, you can request to have zero contact with the driver during the transfer with just one click. In this case, the driver won’t help you with your luggage or shake hands.
Sanitiser in every car
We provide hand sanitisers and hand wipes for all our travellers. Our drivers have their own sanitiser, which they use before and after every ride
Convenient and Reliable Zadar Airport Shuttle
What better way to start a trip than being warmly greeted at the airport by a local, English-speaking driver, ready to take you comfortably to your hotel or downtown. That’s why we recommend pre-booking your Zadar airport transfer and enjoying a stress-free travel experience with Welcome Pickups.
Especially if you’re visiting during the hot summer, waiting in long queues for a taxi is far from ideal, so opt for the convenient and reliable alternative instead. As soon as you land and get your luggage, your Zadar airport taxi driver will be waiting for you at the airport, holding a sign with your name on it. They will guide you directly towards your private car while helping with your bags if you wish so. Even if your flight is delayed or arrives earlier than scheduled, you still don’t need to worry as your Welcome driver will be monitoring your flight and adjust your pickup time accordingly.
While you’re comfortably enjoying your Zadar airport shuttle, your driver will be happy to share with you tips about where to eat the best local specialities and attractions that you definitely shouldn’t miss but also less touristy places to visit that are mostly known to locals. Welcome is not just another taxi service but your friend on the ground.

Reaching the City Center With your Zadar Airport Taxi
Zadar has only one airport and it is approximately 12.5 km away from the city centre. Without any heavy traffic, your Zadar airport taxi should take about 20 minutes to reach most central hotels.
In your cab, you will leave the parking area by heading north and keeping right to continue towards D422. After driving on D422 for some time, you’ll turn left onto the ramp to Zadar and merge onto D424. After around 3.4 km your driver will take the D8 exit toward Zadar Centar and will keep right, following the signs to the city centre until you turn left onto Ul. Ante Starčevića. You’ll then turn right onto Ul. Hrvoja Ćustića and continue until you reach Ul. Domovinskog rata, where you’ll meet a roundabout. By taking the 3rd exit onto Ul. Nikole Tesle, you’ll be well on your way to Zadar city centre.
Why you Should Choose a Welcome Zadar Airport Transfer
At Welcome Pickups, we aim to offer you the best start on your trip by making your transportation as smooth and comfortable as possible – our handpicked, English-speaking taxi drivers will make sure of that! At an unbeatable price, you avoid waiting in queues and instead you get a warm welcome before you even exit the airport; a private, personalised Zadar airport transfer to your hotel and a local to ask whatever you wish to know about the city you’re about to explore.
Zadar Airport Taxi Fares
Unlike many other destinations in Europe, Zadar airport taxis don’t offer flat rates and use a taximeter. That means there is always the risk of getting overcharged, whether the starting price on the taximeter is off or an unnecessarily long route is chosen. Depending on the time of day you leave the airport, your Zadar taxi should cost around €15 (HRK 110). To ensure that you know exactly how much your ride will cost, you can pre-book your Zadar airport taxi with Welcome Pickups instead.
