The Chengdu International Airport (CTU) is around 20 km southwest of downtown Chengdu. The route you take from the airport will largely depend on the location of your exact destination. Generally, after exiting the Chengdu airport, the fastest route is to take the S6 to Renmin South Rd. The journey to reach the downtown area takes around 30 minutes without traffic.
