Tijuana International Airport (TIJ) is located in Baja California, Mexico, and is the closest airport to the border city of Tijuana. It is Latin America’s 11th busiest airport, serving over 9 million passengers a year. The airport is located around 10.5 km from the city of Tijuana, so taking a taxi from Tijuana airport will take around 25 minutes.
After exiting the airport compound, you will reach a roundabout and take the 2nd exit onto Carr. Transpeninsular. Your driver will then reach a second roundabout and will take the 2nd exit to stay on Carr. Transpeninsular. After passing Fitness Kitchen Tijuana on the right, your driver will take a left onto Carr. Transpeninsular, before turning right onto Blvd. Agua Caliente. You will follow this road for around 1.2 km, this road will turn into Av. Revolución. You will then follow this road for around 200 m, before making a left turn onto Av. Abraham González and another left turn after you see Comisión Planta de Bomba Cespt. Finally, your driver will make a right after the 3rd cross street onto Av. Miguel M. Lira, a right at the 2nd cross street onto Manuel Gutierrez Najera and a left onto Av Juan de Dios Peza. This road will then lead you directly into the city centre of Tijuana.
