Cork Airport (ORK) is Ireland’s second largest international airport after Dublin. Located just 6.5 km south of the city, a private car or Cork airport taxi to the city centre takes about 15 minutes in normal traffic conditions, making it the quickest way to get to your destination.
To begin your transfer, your driver will take Avenue 2000 to leave the airport and head north to N27 by taking the 2nd exit at the roundabout. Follow N27, taking the 2nd exit onto S Link Rd/N27 at Kinsale Rd Roundabout, for 5.9 km to Old Station Road in Cork. Turn left onto Old Station Road and continue onto Copley St for 240 m before making a left onto Union Quay and, shortly after, turn right onto Buckingham Pl/George’s Quay/R610. After 240 m, you will turn right onto Parliament St/R610 and cross over River Lee and turn left onto S Mall/R848. Continue onto Grand Parade/N22 which will take you into the city centre.
