Directions for your Kunming Airport Transfer
Kunming Changshui International Airport (KMG), is the primary airport serving the capital of the Yunnan Province in China, Kunming. One of the most interesting aspects of Kunming airport is its location. The airport is nestled in a mountainous region, 2,100 m above sea level and around 27.5 km from the city centre. Taking a Kunming airport shuttle shouldn’t take longer than 30 minutes.
To begin your Kunming airport transfer, your driver will head northeast onto Chuncheng Road. They will then follow signs for South 2nd Ring Rd for 700 m, before taking the ramp to South 2nd Ring Rd. You will continue along this road for another 600 m, before taking the ramp to the 2nd Ring Expressway (A Line). From here, your driver will take the exit on the left toward Shihuguan Jct, and continue along this road for around 1 km. Next, you will take the exit toward Kunming South Station, before continuing on to the Kunyu Expressway. You will travel along this long highway for around 12 km, where you will finally take the exit towards the Three Aluminium Highway. After a sharp left onto Caiyunnan Road, your driver will continue to follow signs for Caiyunnan Road until they reach Fairview Street, where they will take a left onto Harmony Road. This will lead you into the heart of downtown Kunming.
